TekNoXpo & ShowCASE introduces high school students to everything Northern has to offer in academics, from graphic design projects to diesel equipment operation, working with livestock, and treating simulated patients in the nursing lab. This event is hands-on from start to finish and is open to all high school students in grades 9-12.

You pick one track based on what you are interested in. Your track spends the morning in the labs, shops, studios, and classrooms where that program actually runs, doing the work students here do.

Registration for the 2026 TekNoXpo is now open. Space is limited in each track, so please register early to reserve your spot. If you have not received a postcard or digital flyer, or you would like more information, please contact Director Shaughn McKeon.

Choose Your Track

Pick the one track you want to spend the day in. Spaces are limited by lab and classroom size, so any track not listed on the form is already full.

Registering a second time replaces your first choice and gives up your original spot. Save your confirmation email so you have the track you selected.

Before You Arrive

Closed-toe shoes are required in some tracks. Several tracks spend time in active lab and shop environments. If you are registered for one of the tracks below, you must wear closed-toe shoes. For safety reasons, students without proper footwear cannot be allowed around machinery.

What to bring. A willingness to learn. Every student receives a welcome packet at check-in with a drawstring bag and materials about the programs in their track.
