SOAR (Summer Orientation Advising and Registration)
All new freshman and transfer students who have been admitted to MSU-Northern are required to attend one of our Summer Orientation Advising and Registration (SOAR) days. At the SOAR, students will meet with departments on campus to cover the following topics to be ready for the upcoming year:
- Plan your course schedule based on your major
- Complete your admissions checklist
- Meet with a financial aid advisor about financial aid
- Learn how to work through our student portal online
- Go on a personalized campus tour
