Voice Mail: Logging On
Logging on to CallPilot from Your Own Telephone
- Dial the CallPilot access number 



, or if your phone has one, press the Message Waiting or Message key. The system will
                                 respond "CallPilot from Nortel Networks. Mailbox?" - Press 
. (Voice mail will assume your extension number is the same as your mailbox number)
                                 "Password?" - Enter your password, followed by 
. 
You are now logged on. CallPilot plays a summary of new, urgent and unsent messages. For example: "You have two new voice messages. One old message is still unsent."
After the summary, CallPilot describes the first new message, giving the following information:
- the message's number
 - the status of the message
 - who the message was from
 - whether the message is urgent or private or whether acknowledgment has been requested
 - the date and time it was received
 
For example: "Message five, new, from John Smith, urgent, received Thursday at 2:35 p.m."
To log off, press ![]()
. It is recommended you use the log off command to disconnect from the system more
                              quickly than just hanging up the receiver.
Logging on to CallPilot from Any Telephone
- Dial the CallPilot access number. The system will respond "CallPilot from Nortel Networks. Mailbox?"
 - Enter your mailbox number, followed by 
 "Password?" - Enter your password, followed by 
. 
You are now logged on to CallPilot. A description of new, urgent and unsent messages is played.
To log off, press ![]()
. It is recommended you use the log off command to disconnect from the system more
                              quickly than just hanging up the receiver.
