Requesting An Accommodation
If you are already registered with the Accessibility Resource Office and wish to request an additional accommodation or alter an already approved accommodation, please make an appointment with the Accessibility Resource Office. If you are not yet registered with the Accessibility Resource Office, please follow the steps outlined under 'New Students'.
Services and accommodations are not retroactive, so it is recommended you schedule your appointment as soon as possible. You can request accommodations at any point during the semester, but it's best to do so at the beginning of the semester. Additional documentation may be required depending on the nature of the request.
Renewing Accommodations
Students must renew their approved accommodations, if they wish to utilize them.
- Academic accommodations are to be renewed every semester.
- Housing/dietary accommodations are to be renewed once an academic year.
To renew approved accommodations, students must submit the applicable Accommodation Notification Request Form to the Accessibility Resource Office. These forms inform the Accessibility Resource Office that a student wishes to use their approved accommodations and prompt the Accessibility Resource Office to send notifications to either instructors/faculty or University Housing.
Students can either use the links below to send applicable requests electronically or can do so in person at the Accessibility Resource Office (Cowan 213C).
