Continuing MSUN Student Scholarships: Diesel
Name: Aline Shumaker Endowed Scholarship
Criteria: Recipient must be a Montana resident majoring in Diesel, Welding, or Design Drafting
and at least a sophomore standing. Preference will be given to students on the wrestling
team.
Name: Arthur H. Perkins Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a student in the Diesel department with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Name: Caterpillar Excellence Scholarship
Criteria: Recipient must be enrolled in Diesel Technology program.
Name: Dick Irvin Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Criteria: Recipient must be a continuing student enrolled in the Diesel Technology Program.
Name: Donald Mills Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a student enrolled in Diesel or Auto. Student must have a 2.5-3.4 GPA,
demonstrate financial need, involved with campus and community.
Name: Evan and Fern Miller Scholarship
Criteria: Recipient must be a four-year Diesel student and awarded based upon recommendation
of instructional staff in Diesel curriculum.
Name: Kevin Holmes Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a Diesel Technology student with a GPA of 3.0 or better; selection is
based on scholastic achievement and recommendation from Diesel Technology faculty.
Name: Patrick Family Scholarship
Criteria: Recipient must be a Diesel student with a GPA of 2.25 with financial need. Preference
given to students form Hill County MT.
Name: Robert and Blanche Miller Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Recipient shall be a Diesel Technology major with financial need.
Name: Sleeter Family Scholarship
Criteria: Recipient must be enrolled in Ecommerce, Business, or Diesel Technology program within
COTS.
