All MSU-Northern students are required to complete two online prevention courses. If you have not completed both parts of both courses, a hold will be placed on your account until you do complete the courses. These courses are AlcoholEdu® for College and Haven-Understanding Sexual Assault. The two-part courses are designed to educate students and help them make healthy, safe decisions for themselves. This prevention program has been implemented at all public college campuses in Montana under the direction of the Commissioner of Higher Education and the Montana Board of Regents.
Alcohol Edu for College is a two-part interactive, online program designed to inform students about how alcohol affects the mind, body, perceptions, and behaviors. It provides students with accurate, non-judgmental information and personalized feedback.
Haven-Understanding Sexual Assault is a two-part interactive, online program created to address sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking. It’s designed to engage and empower students to create a safe, healthy campus environment.
MSU-Northern is proud to support this education and help students make good decisions while attending college, and throughout their lives. If you have any questions about these courses, please call Tracey Jette at 406-265-3704 for more information.
