Northern Merit Scholarship

MSU-Northern rewards student excellence. We know that excellence in the high school classroom takes hard work and dedication, so the Northern Merit Scholarship Program awards students who meet the following criteria:

  • In-State - the student went to High School in Montana
  • New - the student has not attended any other universities (note: dual enrollment does not disqualify a student)
  • First-Year - the student is not already enrolled at MSU-Northern (note: dual enrollment does not disqualify a student)

If you meet the above requirements, you may be eligible to earn a scholarship at the time of your admittance. Please see the chart below to find your scholarship amount based on your High School GPA and your ACT Score*

You don't need to apply for this scholarship, you earn it through your hard work in high school! If you are eligible you will be informed at the time of admittance along with your acceptance packet. Please don't hesitate to give us a call or email us if you have any questions!

We are excited to be a part of your Rise to the Top!
