Navigate Northern Days is packed with events to introduce you to the great experiences our students have at Northern in the classroom and on our campus. It's designed to prepare you for success in your first year of collegiate courses. Navigate Northern Days is mandatory for all first year and transfer students. Sunday, August 20th, 2023

     • 8am-4pm: Residence Hall Move-In (Check with Residence Life for your Check-In Time)
     • 5pm-6pm: Family Dinner (SUB Dining Hall)
     • 7pm: Student Evening Activity in Residence Halls

Monday, August 21st, 2023

     • 7-9am: Breakfast 
     • 9am-12pm: University Check-In (SUB Ballroom)
     • 12pm: Alumni Foundation Community Lunch
     • 1pm-5pm: Various Presentations
     • 5pm-6pm: Northern BBQ (SUB Lawn)
     • 5:30pm-7pm: Ice Cream Social (Student Support Services, Cowan Hall 211)
     • 8pm: Northern Chill Evening Activity 

Tuesday, August 22nd, 2023

     • 7am-9am: Breakfast 
     • 9am-9:30am: Welcome to Northern (SUB Ballroom)
     • 9:30am: We are Northern: Purpose, Values, Vision & the Learning Experience
     • 10am: Who are we? Diversity and Inclusion
     • 10:30am: Who am I? Being a Light
     • 11:00am: Student Well Being
     • 11:30am: Northern Class Picture (Tilleman Field)
     • 12pm-1pm: Lunch & Welcome by Student Affairs
     • 1pm: Academic Deans and Chairs Welcome
     • 1:30pm-4pm: Various Presentations
     •  5pm-8pm: Aurora Borealis Festival (Cowan Courtyard)
