Criteria: Recipient selection is based on scholastic ability and financial need; student must be enrolled full time in Humanities or Social Sciences and an undergraduate with a 3.00 (minimum) GPA. The Buttrey family is well known in Montana; Buttrey Food & Drug is a descendent of the original Buttrey Department Store that was established in Havre at the current site of the Atrium Mall.
