Criteria: Awarded to a student involved in art or theater. Funds provided by memorials to T. Sawyer & B. Hogeland.

Havre Art Association Scholarship

Criteria: Awarded to an outstanding art student at Northern.

Jane Buttrey Memorial Scholarship
Number Available: 5
Amount: $1,400
Criteria: Recipient selection is based on scholastic ability and financial need; student must be enrolled full time in humanities or social studies and an undergraduate with a 3.00 (minimum) GPA. The Buttrey family is well known in Montana; the current Buttrey Food & Drug is a descendent of the original Buttrey Department Store that was established in Havre at the current site of the Atrium Mall.

Robert Goetzman Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 200
Criteria: The recipient is selected by the Humanities Department. Must maintain a 3.0 GPA, majoring in English or Communications.
