Carlene Scharfe Scholarship

Amount: $250
Criteria: Awarded to Montana High School graduates who are of Junior or Senior status enrolled full time at Northern, majoring in Education with a GPA of 3.00 or higher. Further selection will be based on students who present a commitment to and enthusiasm for educaiton and students, a strong work ethic and an involvement in activities outside of school.

Delta Kappa Gamma Alpha Mu Chapter Scholarship

Amount: $325
Criteria: Awarded to female education students with a preferred major in English. Must have completed 90 credits hours with a 3.0 minimum GPA. Preference given to hi-line students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Jerry and Sally Wood Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $250
Criteria: Awarded to a student attending Northern who is enrolled in business education, second in business, third in nursing. Student must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Elma Epstein Endowed Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 225
Criteria: Awarded to a full time student majoring in education.

Florence Molitor Majerus Scholarship

Amount: $ 300
Criteria: Awarded to one gradute of a Hill County High School and one graduate of a Fergus County High School, recipients must be enrolled in Elementary Education with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Frances Gau Facey Endowed Scholarship
Number Available:2
Amount: $ 350
Criteria: Recipients must have a GPA of at least 2.5 and enrolled in IDST or Education with interest in social work and demonstrate financial need.

Golden Rule Elementary Education Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $1,200
Criteria: Recipient is a female senior majoring in Elementary Education; candidates must be responsible and academically productive and show an enthusiasm for working with children. They must be enrolled full time.

Hockett Family Memorial Scholarship
Number Available: 2
Amount: $ 500
Criteria: This scholarship is given to a Jr. or Sr. education major with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and financial need.

Jeannette Borchert Memorial Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 350
Criteria: This scholarship is awarded to an Education major enrolled in reading and/or language.

Marvin Duty Endowed Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 125
Criteria: This scholarship is awarded to a Montana high school graduate and a junior or senior enrolled full time at Northern, majoring in Education with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Selection is based on students who present a commitment to and enthusiasm for education and demonstrates a strong work ethic and are involved in activities outside of school.

Michael Brady Memorial Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 150
Criteria: This scholarship is awarded to a graduate student pursuing a master's degree in counseling in memory of Michael J. Brady who was a counselor in th Havre Public School system for many years.

Obert and Alice Sanvik Memorial Scholarship

Amount: $850
Criteria: Recipients must be in the Education program who have graduated from CJI or North Star high schools.

P.E.O. Chapter AZ Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 500
Criteria: This award is given to a female who is of junior standing in education and involved in extra-curricular activities related to the chosen field. GPA of 2.5 or higher.
