Separate applications are available in the Admissions, Financial Aid and Alumni offices or call the Alumni office at 265-3770.

Northern Alumni Association Keith Clawson Memorial Incoming Freshman Student Scholarship
Number Available: 2
Amount: $ 750
Criteria: Recipient must have a 2.5 or better GPA; active in extra-curricular activities; must write self-essay and provide a letter of recommendation from anyone other than a family member. Must be a son or daughter of a Northern Alumni. The Alumni Association committee makes the selection.

Northern Alumni Association Keith Clawson Memorial Continuing Student Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 750
Criteria: Recipient must have a 2.5 GPA, be active in extra-curricular activities and present a written self-essay and provide a letter of recommendation from anyone other than a family member. Preference is given to a student whose parent(s) have attended Northern. The Alumni Association committee makes the selection.

Criteria: Recipient must be 21 years or older, full-time enrollment (12 credits or more). Financial aid application must be on file with Financial Aid Office; evidence of community involvement; must write self-essay and provide a letter of recommendation from anyone other than a family member. Selection is made by the Alumni Association committee.

Northern Alumni Association Class of '41 Endowed Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 600
Criteria: Preference is given to a relative of the Class of '41; must be making "normal" academic progress. Northern Financial Aid Committee will submit three recommendations to the Class of '41 scholarship committee for final selection.

Northern Alumni Association Fine Arts Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 750
Criteria: Awarded to a student involved in art or theater. Must show promise in pursuing study in visual and/or performing arts. Preference given to Montana residents and/or a student whose parent(s) attended Northern. Selection is made by the Fine Arts faculty and forwarded to the Alumni Association.

Northern Alumni Graduate Student Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 750
Criteria: Recipient can be either incoming or continuing in the graduate program, must be attending on the Havre campus, and must be enrolled at least half time; active in extra-curricular activities; must write self-essay and provide 2 letters of recommendation from anyone other than a family member. The Alumni Association committee makes the selection.
