Assistant Dean of Students: Fall & Spring Connection Programs

Welcome to Montana State University-Northern! As one of the MSU-Northern community's newest members, you are probably excited and a bit nervous as you prepare to embark on your journey. You undoubtedly have many questions about the University and your role as a student. MSU-Northern has designed a special program for you to ask questions and get answers so you can have a smooth transition into university life. The Spring and Fall Connection programs provide you with resources that are essential to your transition. During the Connection programs you will take placement tests, meet with an advisor, register for classes, learn about campus resources, and participate in fun activities.

As a new MSU-Northern student, you are required to attend a Connection program. Your presence at a Connection program is mandatory and all First-Year and Transfer students must attend.
