and damage files or the operating system. Since Printer sharing represents
a computer security threat, we recommend that local printers not be shared
and any current Printer shares be disabled.
To disable
shared printers:
1. Click
Start choose Settings and click Printers.
2. Locate a shared printer (a printer icon with a hand under it:  ).
3. Right-click on the shared printer icon and choose Sharing from
the menu that appears.
4. Click the Sharing tab on the Printer Properties dialog
box.
5.Click the radio button labeled Not shared from the Printer Properties
dialog box to disable printer sharing for this printer.
6. Click Apply to set the changes and OK to close the dialog
box.
