At MSU-Northern we equip 2 primary types of telephones, analog and digital. Your set color may vary from what is pictured.

Effective June 1st, 2003: As a result of Northern Telecom (NorTel) discontinuing analog sets, MSU-Northern will no longer service or maintain analog telephones.

Analog Telephones (Discontinued)
Analog telephones are the telephones with a single line (one telephone number). The three styles that we currently service on campus are pictured below. If you have one of these sets, you will need to replace it before June 1st 2003.

Digital

Digital sets come in a multitude of sub categories. The primary difference is in the number of programmable function keys. We have pictured below the most common of the digital sets equipped on campus.

If you are not able to identify your set based on the pictures below, you may try looking for a sticker on the underside of the set. If there is a factory tag it should have a model number corresponding to those below.

If you are still unable to identify your set, just let us know how many programmable function keys the set has and that it is a digital set.
