Chancellor Alex Capdeville commented, "I met with faculty and staff on our Havre, Great Falls and Lewistown campuses in an effort to get feedback on whether or not we should conduct a national search. I received strong support from staff and faculty at those meetings for the appointment and continuation of Dr. Jimeno as Provost. Capdeville continued by saying, "She has done a fantastic job during these past few months at Northern. She has experience in working with the Montana University System and is well respected by her colleagues across the university system." Jimeno, a native Montanan, has a thorough understanding of the challenges that face rural education within the State. Jimeno holds several degrees including: a Ph.D. in Education and Business Information Systems from Utah State University (2000); an MS, in Business Education from Montana State University at Bozeman (1985); and a BA, in Business Administration from University of Montana at Missoula (1972). During her career, Dr. Jimeno has served as the Project Director for
the Southwest Montana Tech Prep Consortium, Chair for the Business and
Technology Departments at Western, Faculty Athletic Representative, Title
IX Coordinator, and Assistant Associate Professor of Business. She has
