MSU-Northern
Hosts Reunions
Summer
2001
Montana
State University-Northern welcomed forty-three alumni from the Northern
Montana College Classes of 1951 and combined Classes of 1938-43 back to
campus on May 4th and 5th, 2001, to celebrate their 50th and 60th reunions.
This memorable event included campus and community tours, class meetings,
and socialization time for the members of both reunions to catch up with
one another. A total of eighty-five participants, spouses, family and guests
participated in the two days of activities.
| The reunions began Friday,
May 4th, with class registrations in Donaldson Commons, followed by a luncheon
featuring MSU-Northern Chancellor Dr. Alex Capdeville
who gave the official welcome and university update. Montana State University-Northern's
Northstar student ambassador team led a tour of the campus followed by
class meetings in Donaldson Hall. Friday's festivities concluded with the
Founder's Excellence dinner and reunion banquet in the Student Union Dining
Room. The 50-year alumni were introduced and received their 50-year commemorative
pins. Special introduction was made for each of the returning members of
the Classes of 1938-1943 who came back to celebrate 60 years of loyalty
to Northern. |
