C.B.A. Section 7.8  STUDENT EVALUATION OF TEACHING

"Student evaluation of teaching is designed to provide faculty with a basis for maintaining the quality of the courses and enhancing teaching effectiveness.  The Federation accepts the administration's right to conduct student assessment of faculty using the campus-wide assessment instrument which was agreed upon through negotiations.  A college may not make additions or deletions to the institutional instrument.  However, additional instruments may be administered by college faculty."

All faculty are required to participate in this process.  Full-time faculty must have a minimum of two courses evaluated, and part-time faculty must have a minimum of one course evaluated.  If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact your college Dean.
