804.11 Campus Access Fees

Policy:

Campus access fees for the campus shall be established under the authority of state policy, or statutes, and policy of the Board of Regents of the Montana University System.

The monies received from campus access fees will be used for the maintenance and improvement of parking lots, sidewalks and lighting.

Procedures:

Campus Access Fee Schedule (FY 2007):

A.   Student Access Fees: Students will be assessed $2.59 per semester credit hour per semester or Summer Session, capped at 12 semester credit hours per semester ($31.08).
B.   Employee Access Fees: $60.00 per year. No semester or prorated option is available.
    1. Authorizes parking in standard designated spaces on all streets and lots.
    2. Does not authorize parking in reserved spaces.
C.   R (Reserved) Permits: $162 per year. No semester or prorated option is available.
    1. Authorizes parking in standard designated spaces on all streets and lots.
    2. Authorizes parking in a single parking space designated and assigned by permit number and reserved 7:00 A.M. through 5:00 P.M.

Individuals requesting temporary handicapped parking permits will be issued two-week temporary handicapped parking permits from the Director of Student Health Services, the Assistant Dean of Students, or the Wellness Director. Beyond the initial two-week temporary permit, persons must obtain written justification from their attending physician.

There shall be no refund of Campus Access Fee.
