Lisa Scheresky-O’Neil is an instructor of Nursing at MSU-Northern.  She is a native of North Dakota, but has spent most of her life in Montana.  Lisa obtained her Associate of Nursing Degree from Northern Montana College here in Havre in 1993, and graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree for MSU-Northern Nursing in May of 1997.  Lisa completed her Master's Degree in Nursing Administration in September 2002 from the University of Phoenix.

Lisa’s nursing background has varied experience in all departments, but her main emphasis is in Obstetrics/Pediatrics/and Post Anesthesia Recovery.  She currently works 40 hours every two weeks at the local hospital which she feels keeps her current in her nursing skills, as well as up to date in her certifications of ACLS, PALS and NALS.

Lisa has spent 18 years in the Reserves, and is currently assigned to a MASH unit out of New Mexico, and has traveled extensively with both the ARMY and NAVY.  She specializes in trauma within the MASH unit setting.  Lisa is married to Jayce who is also a Registered Nurse.  They have four daughters.  Lisa enjoys camping, spending time with her family, her family pets and reading.
