![]() The plumbing degree contains all of the general education core courses, technical/applied arts courses, and plumbing courses to provide the student with a comprehensive course of study designed to make the program graduate a valuable asset to the plumbing industry and to provide the graduate with a lifetime career in the trade of journeyman plumber. By obtaining your Associate of Science Degree at Montana State University-Northern you will gain access to one of the state’s largest and highest paid construction careers in the country. A career in Plumbing will provide you with a stable job and opportunities for advancement. Graduates of the Associate degree program are qualified to perform the joint making and installation necessary to work under the supervision of a licensed journeyman plumber and, following three additional years of on the job training, qualify for and be successful at obtaining a journeyman plumber license.
