Our Automotive Body program, the only fully certified program of its kind in the state, offers a comprehensive combination of classroom fundamentals and actual practice in the repair of automobiles and pick-up trucks using current auto body repair facilities.

Our offerings in this area include an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Automotive Body and a departmental certificate program in Automotive Technology with an Automotive Body option. A common core of classes in each Auto Body program offering allows you to move from one program to another without losing credits or repeating classes.

Due to Northern's emphasis on hands-on exprience as well as the relative stability of this industry, graduates often have little difficulty finding excellent employment opportunities in auto body repair shops.
