Physical Plant Buildings

Original Physical PlantIn the fall of 1947 a building 100x40 feet was acquired from Gore Field and placed directly west of the IA Building. This structure served as a maintenance shop and office building until it burned in May 1965 leaving only a cement slab as evidence of its presence.

Physical Plant, Spring 2004Two new campus buildings were started in 1966 and a third was opened for bids. One of these buildings was a new physical plant structure replacing the one that burned down 11 years earlier. Designed by local architect Max Kuhr, the building was constructed in the southwest corner of the campus and was occupied in the spring of 1967.
