All official MSU-Northern materials must adhere to the standards laid out in the MSU-Northern’s Branding Guidelines.

The guidelines provide the correct layout for all official logos, brand elements, colors, and the official tag line. Any changes to the Branding Guidelines must be vetted by the Marketing Committee, the Chancellor's Core Leadership team, the Strategic Advancement Committee, and approved by the University Advisory Council.

Marketing Committee membership is developed in the University Relations office and approved by the Chancellor.

"Official campus materials" are defined as any items that are intended for or could be accessed by the public, including but not limited to posters, brochures, catalogs, letters, emails, and mass mailings.
