Did you know that you can reset your own Portal and NetID passwords MyInfo PIN changes (effective Oct 27, 2009)
When the Banner 8 upgrade goes into effect on October 27th, all MyInfo PINs will be expired. Users will need to change their PINs the next time they log into MyInfo. New MyInfo PINs must be:
Keep in mind the new PINs are case sensitive (upper case, lower case letters). MyInfo users will also be required to set up two security questions. The security questions exist so that users will have the ability to reset their own MyInfo PINs by clicking the "Forgot PIN?" button rather than have to contact the Registrar's office or HR. MyInfo allows access to personal information such as transcripts, class schedules, grades, financial aid packages, and pay stubs. You will need your ID number and PIN to login to MyINFO. If you don't know your PIN for MyInfo, you can call the Registrar's office at 265-3703 and ask to have your PIN reset. Always remember to LOG OFF MyInfo by clicking EXIT in the upper right hand corner and close your browser to protect your information! Student email, calendaring and document sharing are provided though Goggle Apps. To access these applications, you will need your NetID and password. If you don’t know your NetID, you can retrieve it and set your password by logging on to the Portal and NetID Password reset page (you will need your MyInfo ID number and PIN) ![]() Note: your SSN will NOT work as your ID on the Portal password change page! Once you have your NetID and password, you can access your email through the Portal (see below) -OR- by going directly to http://mail.gapps.msun.edu/. If you have not accessed your email before, you will need to Activate your Google account. Always remember to LOG OFF the computer to protect your information! Desire2Learn is a web-based Learning Management System used for some classes. Note that Desire2Learn accounts are sometimes not available until a few days after registering for a class. To login to Desire2Learn:

You can also change your password anytime you are logged in to the Portal by clicking "My Account" located in the upper left hand side of the screen. Always remember to LOG OFF the Portal by clicking Logout icon in the upper right hand corner and close your browser to protect your information!
