Ceramics Pieces on Display in the Library

Steve Helmbrecht's ceramic class is proud to display some of the pieces the students created this semester. Each student in the class submitted two pieces for display. Students created their pieces using various techniques such as coil building, pinch pots, slab construction and a potter's wheel. Many of the students had never used a potter's wheel prior to this ceramics class. The pieces also demonstrate various glazes and finishes using both Kiln firing and Raku fired methods. The pieces will be on display in the library until May 1.
