Information technology plays an increasingly important role at Northern, fostering new collaborations and partnerships across campus and has become an integral part of our everyday lives. Information technology offers the potential for dynamic new ways of teaching and learning, and for improving our work, study and living environments. Perhaps most importantly, it provides a means for developing and expanding the Northern community, linking prospective students, students on campus, distance students, alumni, staff, faculty, community and industrial leaders in innovative ways we never could have imagined a decade ago!

On an almost daily basis we are challenged to choose those resources that will best serve our academic community from a wealth of emerging technologies. Your ideas, comments, suggestions, and reactions to our efforts are always welcome.
