The following links provide education and training opportunities,  resources, referrals and other support and information about relationship and sexual violence and stalking against lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex people. ReSPONSE has additional resource and reference materials in its library and files. Staff members are available to provide completely confidential  support and discussion, and to give presentations about these issues to campus groups. 

  • http://avp.org/ : The New York City Gay & Lesbian Anti-Violence Project  (AVP) serves LGBT and HIV-positive victims of violence, and others affected by violence, hate crimes, domestic violence and sexual assault.

  • http://www.thetaskforce.org/ : The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF) focuses on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights.

  • http://www.pflag.org/ : Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) is a national non-profit organization with over 250,000 members and supporters and over 500 affiliates in the United States.

  • http://www.youth.org/ : Youth Assistance Organization "is a service run by volunteers, created to help self-identifying gay, lesbian, bisexual and questioning youth."

  • http://www.hrc.org/: The Human Rights Campaign addresses the rights of lesbians and gay men in the United States and sponsors the annual National Coming Out Day, October 11.
