The following scholarships are available from outside sources. Additional application material MAY be required. Please read CAREFULLY.

CENEX Scholarship
Number Available: Varies
Amount: Varies
Criteria: Student enrolled in agri-business showing financial need and scholastic ability. Applications available from the AG Department at MSU-N beginning January.

Charles Roll Memorial Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 250
Criteria: Selection will be made by Colleen Roll. The scholarships will be awarded to an incoming freshman from Havre High School majoring in Electronics an/or Electrical and a current MSU-Northern student enrolled in one of these majors. Minimum GPA of 2.5. The students must have a current Financial Aid Application (FAFSA) on file. If there are no applications for the freshman scholarship, then both scholarships will be awarded to current MSU-Northern students.

Hi-Line Cruz'n Association Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 250
Criteria: Student must be enrolled in the automotive major with a minimum GPA of 3.0. The scholarship will be for a 2nd or 3rd year student from north central Montana. Student must write essay explaining why they deserve the scholarship, goal/ambitions. etc. Selection for this scholarship is made by the club members.

Hill County Electric Cooperative Workforce Development Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $500
Criteria: Student entering the MSU-Northern Electrical Technology Program who is planning to work in Montana after certification. Must maintain a 2.0 GPA. Separate application required-available at the Financial Aid Office.

Jim Clark Memorial Diesel Tech.
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 500
Criteria: Awarded to a Junior or Senior enrolled in Diesel Technology with a GPA of 2.5 or better. ADDITIONAL APPLICATION REQUIRED. See Betty Clark in Student Support Services.

Norma Gillies Memorial Nursing Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 300
Criteria: Scholarship is to be awarded to a student pursing his or her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing with a GPA of 2.5 or better and who is a student from a Hill County High School. To be used for books and supplies. Final selection to be made by the Gillies Family. Applications are available at the Nursing Department and in the Financial Aid Office.

Patti Fisher Memorial Nursing Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 250
Criteria: Preference is given to Phillips & Valley County students, but it is open to all full time students who have been accepted into the nursing program and have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Triangle Telephone Cooperative Central Montana Communications Scholarship
Number Available: Varies
Amount: $ 500
Criteria: Applicant must receive local telephone service from Triangle or its subsidiary at his/her residence. Separate application required-available at the Financial Aid Office.

Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 420 Scholarship
Number Available: 1
Amount: $ 500
Criteria: Awarded to a current student (sophomore or above); 2.5 GPA. Funds to be used for books, supplies, and tuition. Separate application required-available at the Financial Aid Office.
