Friday, May 9th

At 1 p.m. on Friday, join us in welcoming newly graduated nurses into the nursing profession at the Nurses Pinning Ceremony. There will be a reception following the ceremony. The pinning ceremony & reception will be held at the 5th Avenue Church (2015 5th Avenue).

The Founders' Excellence/Alumni Reunion Dinner will be held on Friday evening, May 9 at the dining room in the Student Union Building beginning with a social hour at 6:00 and dinner at 7:00 p.m. This year, Excellence Awards will be presented to Mr. Greg Jergeson and Mr. Tony Preite. Complimentary tickets are offered to the first 50 faculty and staff members wishing to attend the dinner and additional tickets can be purchased for $20.00 if you wish to bring a guest. Please call and make reservations through the Foundation Office by calling Debi at 265-3711 before 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7th.

Montana State University-Northern will be welcoming the Northern Montana College Class of `58 back to campus on May 9th and 10th to celebrate their 50th reunion. The returning alums will participate in campus and community tours, a class meeting, socialization time for the class members to catch up with one another, and they will lead the new graduates in the graduation exercises.

Saturday, May 10th

Commencement ceremonies will be held at 10:00 a.m., in the Gymnasium. Dr. Mary Moe, Dean, MSU-Great Falls College of Technology, will present the commencement address. Ceremonies are open to the public without need for tickets.

A commencement brunch will immediately follow the ceremony. Each faculty and staff member who would like to attend may receive one complimentary brunch ticket. The complimentary tickets are available at the Information Desk in the Student Union or you may call Nicole at 3561 to have a ticket reserved for you. It is important, however to arrange for those tickets no later than Wednesday, May 7th by 5pm, so Food Service can get an accurate count for the brunch. Additional brunch tickets for spouses or family members will also be available in advance at $7, and no charge for children under six.

The MSU-Northern Bookstore will be open from 11am to 2pm on Saturday.
