Hello! I'm Cristina Estrada-Underwood, and I'm the f Director of Diversity Awareness and Multicultural Programs. I'm honored to work for this office since multiculturalism in all its expressions is one of my passions. I’m originally from Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico. I hold a Bachellor’s of Art in Mass Communications from La Salle University in Gómez Palacio, Durango, Mexico, and I’m a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a Master’s of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language. I have worked at MSUN since 2014, previously having worked as English and Communication instructor at Aaniiih Nakoda College in Harlem, MT. I'm a firm believer that the more we get to know each other's cultures, the more empathetic, wiser, and well-rounded human beings we will be.
