Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is an ongoing fundraising effort aimed at securing support for Montana State University-Northern.  The annual fund provides MSUN the opportunity to inspire students to explore.... to learn.... to delight in in making new discoveries.... and to eagerly share their knowledge.  The Annual Fund supplements the aspiration of greatness at Montana State University-Northern while embracing the belief that technology, the liberal arts and science are vital, connected elements preparing students for an increasingly complex world community.  Gifts of all sizes, and for an array of programs and projects are needed to sustain and advance Montana State University Northern's mission.

Unrestricted Gifts:  Gifts supporting current operations that provides maximum flexibility to meet the needs and challenges of the University.  

Temporarily Restricted:  Designated gifts directed to MSUN in support of operations within departments, scholarship or other designations.  Temporarily restricted may become permanently restricted or unrestricted.

Permanently Restricted:  Gifts made with a stated restricted clause for use.  (A named endowment providing funds for scholarship).  Restricted gifts always remain restricted.
