Ways to Give

Since 1929, Montana State University-Northern has been a leader in regional higher education. Our alumni are a testament to the tradition of excellence in education that we represent. MSU-Northern has a long history of support and engagement from our alumni, our community, and our business and industry partners that have helped to shape our university into the dynamic institution that it is today. Our purpose now is to prepare Montana State University-Northern for the next step in its journey and we hope you will partner with us to make that happen.

MSU-Northern and the Foundation in collaboration have created a vision and strategy to Inspire, Educate, and Invest in our students and community. After careful deliberation and with input from many of our stakeholders, we have identified two major facets to focus our vision and strategy.

We urge you to consider Lighting up our Future by contributing to the Campaign for Northern. Join with us and the entire Northern community in building the future for the families and communities of the Hi-Line region and state. To learn more about the campaign and to make a gift, please read our Case for Support.

Ways to Invest in MSU-Northern

Infrastructure upgrades are greatly needed on many campuses and MSU-Northern is no exception. While the University has worked diligently to maintain its buildings it is limited in its ability to make significant improvements. State funding continues to decline and many improvements needed for Northern's infrastructure will not come from state dollars. Funds raised through philanthropy will be almost the sole financial source to improve existing structures. These infrastructure improvements will give MSU-Northern increased ability to attract and retain students by improving the student experience.

For students, college is more than academics; it is also about enjoying this time of one's life by building lifelong friendships and creating lasting memories. The Athletics Complex, Student Union Building, and Residence Halls are the central focus of campus life with daily use by students, faculty, staff, and the community. Students consistently affirm the importance of these facilities when they choose a college.
