Desire2Learn courses are taught via the Internet.  These courses are designed to meet the needs of adult learners who are unable to attend classes on a typical class schedule.  Becoming an online learner takes initiative and self-discipline.  Online learning requires you to read through materials that would be discussed out loud in either a classroom or study group discussion in an on-campus course.  Learning to find information online and learning to use the tools in a Desire2Learn virtual classroom will be your first challenges as a new online student.  Below are resources you might find valuable as you seek to further your education online.
