If you cannot get logged on to the computers in the campus labs, you need to come to the Help Desk (Cowan Hall 117B) and bring your student ID.

You are automatically given 300 MB of network storage (your Z: drive). This storage is accessed through your My Documents folder. Anything you place in the My Documents folder will automatically be saved on a network server and will be available to you from any lab PC.

Your Username is the same as your MyPortal username.

If you have never logged on before, your default password is your birth date in the format DD-MMM-YY. Be sure to include the dashes and CAPITALIZE the first three letters of the month.
For example:
If your birthday was March 3rd, 1992, your password will be 07-MAR-92.
If your birthday was November 27th, 1991, your new password will be 27-NOV-91.

If you are connected to the network in the Residence Halls or to the secure wireless network on campus and have Windows 2000, XP, Vista and 7, you can connect to your student Z: drive. Download this file , unzip it, and run the program which will create a connection for you automatically.

Log onto the secure VPN with your MSUN network account and your Z: drive will be automotically connected.
