Montana State University-Northern head
women’s basketball coach Chris Mouat has announced the
signing of Taylor Keller to join the Skylight program next
fall.
Mouat said, “We are thrilled that
Taylor has chosen to continue her athletic and academic
careers at MSU-Northern. She is a quality student-athlete
and all along we have felt like she is one of the best point
guards in the state.”
Keller, a 5’6” guard from Custer, is a
four-year starter while playing for her father, Jeff. She
was a two-time All-State selection and was a four-time
All-Conference pick. This season, she averaged 18 points, 7
rebounds, and 6 assists while helping Custer to a State
Class C Tournament berth. At the State C Tournament, Keller
played with a torn meniscus and earned All-Tournament
honors. She also played in Malta’s HIT Tournament two weeks
after arthroscopic surgery. At the HIT, she was selected to
the All-Tournament team and won the 3-point contest. Most
recently, she was named to the Great Falls Super State Team
as one of the top ten players in Montana.
Mouat said, “Taylor has been
well-coached and she brings a pretty complete package to our
program. She has the ability to hurt you in a number of
ways offensively, and is very sound at the defensive end of
the floor. She is a skilled handler and passer, and she
shoots the ball very well from the perimeter. She is
someone we look at as having the potential to be a
difference-maker in our program for four years.”
This season, Keller shot 45% from the
field and 39% from the three-point line. She shot nearly
75% from the free throw line and set the career mark for
free throw percentage at Custer High School. But, according
to Mouat, the intangible things are what set her apart.
“One of the biggest things I liked
about Taylor is her toughness,” he said. “She is an
outstanding competitor and will do what it takes to win. I
was able to watch her play at the State Tournament this year
and was extremely impressed. She played really well despite
being in a lot of pain.”
Keller is the daughter of Jeff and
Corinna Keller. She carries a 3.5 Grade Point Average and
is a member of the National Honor Society.

Lindsay Hartley |
Montana State University-Northern head
women’s basketball coach Chris Mouat has announced the signing
of Lindsay Hartley to play for the Skylights next fall.
Hartley, a 5’8” guard from Brooks, Alberta,
was a three-year starter for Brooks Composite High School. This
season, she scored averaged 21.5 points (817 total points), 9.5
assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game for the Lady Buffalos.
Brooks finished with an overall record of 34-4 and won Alberta’s
3A Provincial Tournament championship (3A high schools in
Alberta maintain an enrollment of 300-800 students). Their only
losses of the season were to 4A schools, the highest
classification in Canada. Hartley was also named the Most
Valuable Player of the provincial championship game, an 84-52
win over #2-ranked Kai Nai. The head coach of the Brooks team
was Lindsay’s Father, Jim Hartley.
Mouat said, “Lindsay is a great sign for
us. She brings a very nice shooting touch and perimeter range.
She is capable off of the dribble, and sees the floor very
well.”
Hartley shot 45% from the field this season
and 77% from the foul line. She also shot 41% from the 3-point
line while connecting on 97 attempts.
“Offensively, Lindsay is already fairly
polished. She has the ability to knock down the open
three-point shot and can finish taking it to the basket. What
really stood out about her when we watched her in person and on
tape is her perimeter range. She is comfortable shooting the
basketball well beyond the three-point line.”
Canadian high school basketball teams play
with a 20-foot, 6-inch three point line as compared to the
19-foot, 9-inch line used in United States high school
basketball.
Mouat continued, “Lindsay is a quality
student-athlete and great addition to our program. We feel very
fortunate that she chose to continue her academic and athletic
career at MSU-Northern and in a Skylight uniform.”
Hartley carries a 4.0 grade point average
and is the daughter of Jim and Colleen Hartley. |

According to Mouat, “Jordan is a hard-nosed
player who has been away from the game for a year. She has a lot of
passion for basketball and is really hungry to get back into it.
She is also someone I’ve known for a long time and have had the
chance to watch compete at a number of levels. She will bring a lot
of competitiveness and energy to our program right away.”
Kambich maintains a 3.6 Grade Point Average
and she plans to major in biology at MSU-Northern. She is the

a two-year career at the College of Eastern Utah in Price, Utah.
Prior to playing at Eastern Utah, Little red-shirted for one season
at NCAA Division I Southern Utah University.
Mouat said, “We are very excited about Stacie.
She brings an immediate defensive presence in the post to our

According to Mouat, Little is also very
capable at the offensive end.
“Stacie has improved her offensive game over
the past couple of seasons and we really feel like she’ll do well in
our system. She has good hands and is very solid on the offensive
boards.”
Little is a 2004 graduate of Cottonwood High
School in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she earned honorable mention
All-State honors as a junior and was a 2nd team selection
as a senior. During her senior year at Cottonwood, Little was also

Danielle Trower |
Montana State University-Northern women’s
basketball coach Chris Mouat has announced that Danielle Trower has
signed to play for the Skylights next fall.
Mouat said, “Danielle is a great addition to
