Western Wyoming standout to join Skylights

Montana State University-Northern women’s basketball coach Chris Mouat has announced the signing of Jennie Lee to join the Skylight program this fall.  Lee, a 5’11” post player, recently completed a two-year career at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

“Jennie is a strong addition to our program,” Mouat said.  “She is a physical post player with good skills and a strong passion for the game.  After two solid seasons at Western Wyoming, we are confident that she will give us immediate help in the post.”

This season, Lee was a Second Team All-Conference selection in the Wyoming Conference.  She was also an Academic All-Conference and All-Region selection.

Lee is a 2005 graduate of Borah High School in Boise, Idaho.  As a senior, she earned Second Team All-Conference honors in the Southern Idaho Conference and helped lead  Borah to a District Championship.  She currently holds the Borah High School record for rebounds in a game with 18.

Mouat said, “We are excited about what Jennie can bring to the program and are looking forward to her progress over the next two seasons.”

Lee plans to major in secondary education at MSU-Northern.  She is the daughter of John and Jan Lee.
