Skylight Volleyball Team in Europe

The Skylight Volleyball Team embarked on their 10-day tour of Europe on Thursday, May 8.  They arrived in Amsterdam on May 9 and played in an outdoor tournament in Pnkstertoernooi on May 11 and 12.  As of May 12, the team had seen some fierce competition against semi-pro caliber opponents.  According to Janet Tretheway, an MSU-Northern supporter making the trip, the average age of players on opposing teams is 25-26 years old.  The Skylights did pull off one win in three games on the last day of competition in Pnkstertoernooi.

On May 13^th, the Skylights will travel to Dublin, Ireland for competition at the Dublin Volleyball Club and the University College Dublin until May 16^th.
