FOOTBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

BILLINGS – Players from Carroll College
and Montana State-Northern were named Frontier Conference Football Players of
the Week.
Offensive Player of the Week: John Barnett, Carroll
College, 6’4”, 225 lbs, senior,
quarterback, from Hermiston,
Ore. In Carroll’s 28-7 road win
over Eastern Oregon, Barnett was 15 of 30
passing for 225 yards. He rushed for 30 yards and two touchdowns. Barnett also
passed for a two-point conversation. Other players nominated: Brian Guisti of Rocky Mountain, Casey Kelly of Montana Tech, Justin Moe of
Montana State-Northern, Travis Morscheck of Eastern Oregon and Zach Parks of Montana Western.
Defensive Player of the Week: Dilan Saisbury, Montana State-Northern, 6’2”, 228 lbs, senior,
linebacker, from Helena, Mont. In MSU-Northern’s 34-10 road win over Montana Western, Saisbury had eight solo tackles, four assisted tackles, two
tackles of losses of 12 yards, two quarterback sacks, one interception, one
forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Also nominated Jeff McNally of Eastern Oregon, Stephen O’Neal of Montana
Western, J.J. Perino of Montana Tech, Zack Richardson
of Carroll College and Jason Rixford
of Rocky Mountain
College.
Special Teams Player of the Week: Zach Thiry, Carroll
College, 6’2”, 215 lbs, junior, punter/kicker, from Boise, Idaho. In Carroll’s
28-7 road win over Eastern Oregon, Thiry had four punts for 221 yards including a career best
75-yard punt. In kick offs, he had six kicks for 372 yards. Also nominated,
Adam Donnelly of Eastern Oregon, Mondrell Lathan of Rocky Mountain College, Nolan Lopez of Montana
Tech and Michael Serman of Montana Western.
