FRONTIER CONFERENCE NAMES

VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

FRONTIER – Players from Montana Tech, MSU-Northern, and the University of Great Falls were named Frontier Conference Volleyball Players of the Week.

 

Libero of the Week: Kari Schiller, University of Great Falls, 5-6 Freshman from Great Falls, Montana. UGF stayed unbeaten in the Frontier with wins over Montana Tech and Lewis-Clark. Schiller had 44 digs and four service aces. Also nominated: Rebekah Hudson, Montana Tech; Dawn Ingham, Lewis-Clark State; and Jeni Ramondelli, UM-Western.

 

Setter of the Week: Lindsay Balfour, Montana Tech, 5-8 freshman from Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Montana Tech split their weekend series with MSU-Northern and Great Falls. Tech lost to UGF and beat MSU-Northern. Balfour had 110 assists, four kills, 11 digs, and one solo block.

Also nominated, Jennifer Petersen, University of Great Falls; Emily Madison, MSU-Northern; Lindsey Scott, UM-Western.

 

Player of the Week: Jordan Fox, MSU-Northern, Jr, 5-8, Outside Hitter from Salt Lake City, Utah. MSU-Northern split their weekend road series as they lost to Montana Tech and beat Lewis-Clark. Fox had 36 kills, 31 digs, six service aces, one solo block and eight assisted blocks. Also nominated, Katherine Sunwall, UM-Western; Claudia Jacobs, University of Great Falls; Maria McNeil, Montana Tech; and Tyger Spencer, Lewis-Clark State.
