BASKETBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

BILLINGS – Players from MSU-Northern and UM-Western were named Frontier Conference Basketball Players of the Week.

Men’s Player of the Week: Jeff Graham, University of Montana Western, 6-0, Sr, G, Chester, Montana. Montana Western split a series at home. The Bulldogs lost to Carroll College 66-88 and defeated Rocky Mountain 90-83. Graham averaged 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and one steal per game. He shot 56% (9 of 16) from the field, 50% (5 of 10) from three point, and 87% (6 of 7) from the free throw line. Also nominated, Nick Booth, Westminster College; Eric Gallinger, Rocky Mountain College; Ronnie Simpson of MSU-Northern and Travis Williams of Carroll College

Women’s Player of the Week: Jaci Heny, MSU-Northern, 5-6, Sr, G, Powell, Wyoming. Northern won two games at home. The Skylights downed #6 Lewis-Clark 95-81 and Westminster College 74-54. Heny averaged 30.5 points, three rebounds, 4.5 assists and two steals per game. She shot 68% (17 of 25) from the field; 78% (7 of 9) from three point and 84% (20 of 24) from the free throw line. Heny set a single game scoring record for Northern when she hit for 40 against Lewis-Clark.
