BASKETBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

FRONTIER – Players from the University of Great Falls and MSU-Northern were named Frontier Conference Basketball Players of the Week.
Women’s Player of the Week: Jacy Heny, MSU-Northern, 5-6, Sr, G, Powell, Wyoming. Northern won two games at the Hawaiian Holiday Classic. The Skylights beat North Georgia 80-72 and Olivet Nazarene 109-108. Heny averaged 29.5 points and three rebounds per game. She hit 74% of her field goals, 80% of her three point field goals and 81% of her free throws. Also nominated Shalee Fackrell of Westminster College; Aundrea Morrison, Lewis-Clark; Lori Jo Neubauer of Rocky Mountain and Katherine Sunwall, UM-Western;
Men’s Player of the Week: Tyrone Witherspoon, University of Great Falls, 6-4, Jr, F/C, Antioch, California. The Argos closed their non-conference season with a pair of wins at home. UGF beat the University of Lethbridge 86-72 and the University of Calgary 101-86. Witherspoon averaged 22.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. He hit 72% of his field goals, 67.7% of his three point field goals and 50% of his free throws.
