Lights wrestling hosts banquet
Fans of the Montana State University-Northern wrestling team are invited to
the annual senior wrestling banquet. The night is a celebration and the
opportunity to reflect on this year's past performances and to celebrate the
team's accomplishments for 2005.
As usual, the seniors are expected to give their farewell speeches following
the presentation of individual and team awards. This year's seniors are
national champions Brian Luna, Stryder Davis, Jesse
Juarez along with all-Americans Dan Shaw and Dustyn
Azure.
If a guest would like to sponsor a specific wrestler by paying for his dinner,
you may do so. It would help defray expenses and the wrestler will sit with his
or her sponsor, if desired, during the banquet.
The banquet will be held on April 3. Doors will open at
Cost per plate is $10 for ages nine and up. Kids under eight will eat for free.
