Skylights finish third at Frontier Conference tournament
The Montana State University-Northern volleyball team ended its season with
a win, which is something that many teams can't say. However, the Skylights
would rather have had that win come in the Frontier Conference tournament
championship game, instead of the consolation game.

Skylight spikers face UM-Western yet again in Frontier Tourney
The third time may have been the charm for
UM-Western against the Montana State University-Northern volleyball team,
but what is the fourth time going to be? The Skylights and Bulldogs
will meet yet again - the second time in as many weeks - in the opening
round of the Frontier Conference Volleyball Tournament, today at 3 p.m.

Skylights salvage conference split; finish tied for third with Rocky
At this rate, Montana State
University-Northern volleyball coach Lisa Handley is going to either have a
head full of gray hairs or premature heart problems in another week.
Her Skylights, yet again, took her through a roller coaster of emotions in a
weekend split of conference matches. Northern, which has played more
five-game matches than anyone else in the Frontier, added two more to its
total over the weekend.

Skylights host final home matches with third place on the line
Superstitions aside, Montana
State University-Northern volleyball head coach Lisa Handley doesn't believe
in, or at least want to hear about old coaches' sayings. Particularly,
"The toughest thing to do in sports is beat the same team three times in one
season." "Don't even say it," Handley said when the adage was about to
be brought up. "We're not thinking about things like that. Don't jinx us."

Skylights defeat UGF in five; avenge earlier home loss
When everything is going right, the Montana State University-Northern

them away. Northern played its fifth five-game match of the
season, outlasting UGF in a 27-30, 30-22, 25-30, 30-25, 15-12 marathon win

Skylights ready to face Argos
As much as
they would like to forget it, the Montana State University-Northern
volleyball team and head coach Lisa Handley can't put their 30-21, 30-23,
30-18 loss to the University of Great Falls a month ago out of their minds.
But maybe that's not a bad thing. It certainly offers a little motivation
for the Skylights in tonight's match against the Argos at 7 p.m. at the
McLaughlin Center in Great Falls.

It had to happen at some point.

perfect in five-game matches. But head coach Lisa Handley wasn't exactly
happy with how it transpired. The Skylights fought back to face a
fifth and deciding game against Lewis-Clark State in Lewiston, Idaho, only
to see their passing break down and fall to the Warriors 31-29, 30-22,

The Montana State
