Doug was born and raised in Havre, MT, and will enter his first year of coaching the MSUN rodeo team. Doug works as an Ag loan officer at Stockman Bank of Havre. He graduated from MSU-Northern in 2005 with a degree in Ag Operations and Business technology. Doug college rodeoed for MSUN all four years of college, and qualified for the CNFR twice in the saddle bronc riding event, winning the Big Sky region in 2002. While on the MSUN rodeo team Doug met his wife Emily and they now have a daughter Kenzie. Doug’s list of accomplishments include being a two time State High School Champion in Saddle Bronc Riding, qualifying for the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals twice, and winning a National circuit championship in the WTRC. Doug is excited to work with the MSUN rodeo athletes and combine education and rodeo.
