Walter Runsabove

Walter rejoins the Lights after redshirting during the 2002-03 season.  A native of Wolf Point and the Hi-Line, Walter can shoot the ‘Lights’ out from the 3-pt line and is deceptively quick on dribble penetration to the basket.  Since his arrival last year, Walter has matured mentally and increased his effort considerably during practice and games.  He will compete for playing time at the shooting guard position this season.  Walter also competes in Fancy Dancing competitions during the summer at PowWows around the nation.  Walter was born March 8^th, 1983 to Bill and Danna Runsabove and shares a son, Cactus Jay, with his wife Kassie.  He is a Physical Education major.
