
Larry Morinia
Larry enters his senior season as co-captain after garnering First Team All-Conference and NAIA Honorable Mention All-American honors last season. Larry averaged 19 points and 3 rebounds per game and shot 48% from the field while bringing excitement and athleticism to the floor. A native of Albuquerque, NM, Larry provides an explosive scoring threat and a solid defensive presence alongside brother Lamar in the Lights backcourt. With a year of experience in the Lights program under his belt, Larry has developed into a great leader and sets the tone on and off the court for his teammates. The Lights are counting on Larry’s leadership, scoring, and improved defense to challenge for the Frontier title this season. Larry was born February 2nd, 1980, to Larry, Sr., and Brenda Morinia and shares a son, Larry III, and a daughter, LaRiya, with his wife Reasha. He is a Communications major.
