For his efforts he was named First-Team All-State (Class C) and First-Team All-Conference (6C). Mark is a very good all-around athlete, amassing honors in other sports as well. He was named All-State and All-Conference in football (6-man) and went to State in the High Jump (2006), reaching a very solid mark of 6’4” on his best jump.
“Mark is a very athletic guy with a great deal of potential. His frame is ideal for the collegiate level and if things work out, he can become a very good player on both ends of the floor, in the Frontier Conference. Over the past season, he has gained more and more skills at the wing position and if that continues, he could become a very good scorer and defender in our league.”
