Nine students who attended Northern Montana College from 1956 to 1958 met this year for the first time since their college days. Four of the "girls" met in Scottsdale Arizona in March. They were Marlene (Stuebe) Barnes, Jean (Stuebe) Farrar Duncan, Beth (Thompson) Aklestad and Marlene (Moye) Zwolle. Joining Marlene, Jean and Beth at East Glacier were Lorna (Bowen) Tanberg, Barbara (Reichelt) Shaw, Antoinette (Lawlor) Wagner and Phyllis (Swanson) Scherer. The Northern Annuals of those years were reviewed and everyone agreed they had not changed a bit, except they are all Grandmothers. The group plans to meet again on the last Monday of August 2006 at the East Glacier Lodge. They want to encourage anyone who recognizes their names to attend.
