Keith Clawson Memorial Scholarships
Winter 2002

Continuing Student-$750, Non-Traditional Student-$750, Single Parent Student-$750, Fine Arts Student-$750 scholarships are available. Separate application forms for these are necessary and are available through the Financial Aid, Admissions or Alumni offices. Deadlines for these scholarships is March 1, 2002 to the Alumni Office in Donaldson Hall, Room 211.

Two (2) $750 ($375 Fall Semester, $375 Spring Semester) scholarships for incoming freshmen students who will be attending MSUN full time during the next academic school year are granted each year by the Northern Alumni Association.

STUDENT MUST BE AN INCOMING FRESHMAN AND THE SON OR DAUGHTER OF A NORTHERN
ALUMNUS.

1. Must enroll as a full-time student (12 or more credits).
2. List past and/or present school and/or community involvement.
3. Attach 7th semester high school transcript, or GED equivalent.
4. Attach 500 word essay explaining why you are attending Northern and why you are enrolled in your preferred course of study.
   
5. Attach two letters of recommendation from anyone other than a family member.

Apply for the Incoming Freshman Scholarships by completing a Financial Aid and Admission application with the appropriate offices at MSU-Northern and indicating that you qualify for this award. Follow the deadline requirement set by the Financial Aid Office.
